UDE (Universal Debug Engine) is a full featured multicore HLL debugger and an user extendable debug server. UDE supports a number of different cores and Multicore Debugging as well as standard debug features. The flexible access to any custom specific target systems via JTAG/OCDS L1, CAN, SSC, ASC, 3Pin and others based on the high-speed communication hardware Universal Access Device. The combination of the TASKING C/C++ Compilers and Universal Debug Engine is one of the most powerful tool chains and used to use for large professional development projects. UDE is aware to different RTOS and supports the OSEK Real Time Interface.

The UDE debuggers from pls work together with the TASKING VX-toolsets for C166/ST10, TriCore and ARM as well as the classic C166/ST10 toolset.
