SYDNEY, Australia — May 4th 2010 — Altium recently announced that GST, a fire alarm system provider in China, has adopted Altium Designer with the aim of enhancing its product innovation and competitiveness.
GST has adopted Altium Designer as the electronics design tool for its engineers in Qinhuangdao, Beijing and Shenzhen. The engineers at GST will benefit from some of Altium Designer’s unique features, such as its web-based software license management as well as its access options, which will improve GST's team, workload and project management. In particular, Altium Designer’s access options will let GST‟s electronics designers co-ordinate with their colleagues in other cities with greater accuracy and efficiency.
“With severe competition in the market, we are increasingly aware of the importance of having the best electronics design tools,” said the supervisor of GST‟s information center, “Altium Designer is the best choice for GST because it improves our engineers‟ design efficiency and enables them to realize their design ideas much more easily. We firmly believe that Altium Designer will improve the effectiveness of the design team and yield greater market benefits for the company.”
Roger Shen, Regional CEO of Altium Greater China said, “GST possesses an advanced design philosophy as well as superior products. We are very pleased to be partnering with such a prestigious organization. Altium has long been committed to providing the most advanced design tools for our clients, helping them achieve better design processes and greater design efficiency.
