Altium Designer 6.6 release
Altium is pleased to announce that Altium Designer 6.6 is now available, bringing you over 225 enhancements. This update delivers significant improvements to Altium Designer’s board layout and manufacturing output capabilities, including extended control of rounded pads shapes, new intuitive support for assembly variants and expanded IPC Footprint Wizard capabilities. Altium Designer 6.6 also delivers an expanded collection of real-world signal integrity examples and introduces a new level of MCAD integration with the addition of STEP Component Model Import capabilities for more accurate 3D design representation.
