    Course Description: This 4 day course will introduce the Altium Designer environment, taking Students from start to finish in creating a design. At the Schematic level, students will learn how to wire a schematic and work with Schematic Symbol Libraries. In addition, each individual will acquire the skills to transfer the design to a PCB, utilize PCB library footprints and export Manufacturing files required for PCB fabrication.

    Prerequisite: Experience with Microsoft Windows

    Target Audience: Engineers and PCB Designers who need to learn about the Altium Designer environment.

  • Altium Designer Advanced PCB Design Training (2 days)

    Course Description: This 2 day course will introduce advanced concepts, processes and methodologies associated with the Altium PCB Design editor. Students will acquire a more complete and advanced knowledge of Altium's powerful PCB design environment and learn advanced editing techniques to increase productivity and efficiency.

    Prerequisite: Intro to Altium Designer Training

    Target Audience: Engineers and PCB Designers who need to gain a better understanding of the advanced features and techniques available within the PCB editing environment, and how to use them.

  • Altium Designer Library Setup & Management (2 days) NOW BEING OFFERED ONLINE!

    Course Description: This 2 day course will cover the many facets of the Altium library, from symbol and footprint creation, to library methods such as integrated, database, and subversion database libraries. Focus on optimizing Altium's library methodologies, including the configuration and management of SVN libraries; processes for linking references such as datasheets and weblinks into the schematic library symbols; linking and configuring models such as SPICE and IBIS to the schematic component; taking advantage of the global editing tools such as the IPC footprint wizard and Smart Grid Insert for rapid symbol development; and linking 3-D models into the PCB component.

    Prerequisite: Intro to Altium Designer Training

    Target Audience: Engineers, PCB Designers, Librarians, and Component Engineers that need to understand the options available when developing and deploying the different type of libraries available with Altium Designer.

  • Altium Designer Embedded Training (3 days)

    Course Description: This 3 day course will demonstrate taking hardware/software design from concept to silicon. Our expert instructors will teach you Altium Designer based FPGA design; LiveDesign; C-to-RTL; using Wishbone compliant IP; FPGA to PCB synchronization; Pin Swapping; and Commissioning the design, and Altium's Desktop Nanoboard.

    Prerequisite: Intro to Altium Designer Training

    Target Audience: Hardware, Firmware, or Software Engineers who wish to unlock the full potential of FPGA design utilizing Altium Designer.
