The pace out on the racetrack is fast, but the speed of development is sensational. Every season BMW sends a brand new car to the starting grid, frequently developing new components in-between races. There is always only ever one goal: to be quicker than the rest. BMW Motorsports is currently using Altium software in the development of a Lambda Controller which monitors the Air/Fuel ratio in their high-performance touring car engines.
