Altium's NanoBoard architecture is unique in that target programmable devices are housed on plug-in daughterboards, enabling you to easily change the target project architecture, providing a truly FPGA vendor-independent development board.
With the release of the Desktop NanoBoard, the swappable daughter boards now support a much larger number of IO connections from the target FPGA to the connected peripherals. Backwards compatibility has been included so that all of the daughter boards available can be readily used with either the Desktop NanoBoard or the NanoBoard-NB1. Note that the NanoBoard-NB1 daughter boards only address one of the three peripheral boards on the Desktop NanoBoard.
