"I would like to thank you for all your help while purchasing Altium Designer.
As we talked about, I choose Altium over my current design package for a couple of reasons. The price was a big factor. The purchase price of Altium was about the same as the just maintenance of the package I was using. I already see a difference in the time it takes to turn around a board now that the electrical engineers are getting up to speed with the software and doing their own schematics. Also, being able to easily import and export dwg format drawings for boards outlines and assembly prints has been a big time saver.
For myself it has been a pretty easy transition. With the tools, libraries and tutorials that are provided with the Altium package I have been able to find answers to any questions I have had.
The Altium Designer has met all of our requirements from schematic capture through layout. "
