TASKING TriCore TCP/IP Stack Reference Design
More and more embedded devices are remotely managed - commanded, diagnosed, or upgraded - over the Internet or other networks. The new TCP/IP stack reference design enables you to add these networking functions to your end product, and is available as a project sample with the TriCore compiler. The stack is specifically designed for use in embedded systems and thus fast, compact, efficient and reliable.
The TCP/IP stack reference design consists of the following modules:
- IP / UDP / TCP protocols
- RS232, modem (dial-in/dial-out) and Ethernet support
- SLIP, PPP (LCP, PAP, IPCP, HDLC)
- Servers: HTTP, FTP, TELNET, minimalistic DNS, minimalistic ICMP
- Clients: SMTP, DHCP, ARP, DNS
- Virtual file system in ROM or live file system (similar to FAT16)
The TCP/IP stack is ready to run on Infineon's TC1130 TriBoard evaluation kit, using the on-board Ethernet connector and the provided low-level drivers. It can however easily be ported to any other TriCore based application and allows smooth incorporating into your embedded software.
The TCP/IP stack reference design comes with Altium's most extensive TriCore compiler bundle (ordering code 07-200-160-806 or 07-200-160-808) and may be used royalty free in your TriCore based end product developed with this TASKING TriCore toolset.
