Euros Embedded Systems GmbH (previously Dr. Kaneff Engineering Consultants) concentrates on the development of system software for embedded systems. The focus lies on the real-time operating system EUROS, which is specially designed for applications in this market.

EUROS is an innovative real-time operating system characterized by very short response times, compactness, robustness, scalability and flexibility. Altium offers the preferred TASKING tools for developing EUROS applications based on Infineon C16x. The user gets additional help during development with EUROScope for debugging, EUROSobjects for visualizing the OS objects and EUROStrace for visualizing events.

The EUROS Embedded Internet Solution consists of the industry standard TCP/IP protocol accessed via the standard socket programming interface. In addition services such as PPP, FTP server, SNMP agent, SMTP client and Webserver are supported.

The EUROS real-time operating system and their TCP/IP protocol have been made available for the TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore as well as the classic C166/ST10 and 68K/ColdFire toolsets.
