tresos® ECU is forming a horizontal Core Platform for the automotive ECU development. It provides ECU runtime software like operating system, hardware abstraction layer, communication stacks and system services. Additional the ECU developer will be supported by an integrated toolchain to configure and generate the ECU runtime software and to debug and analyse his application software together with standard software on the ECU. The tool platform is easy extensible and open for customers own modules and hence optimal prepared for migrating legacy software with standard platform software.

Major ECU runtime software provided by tresosR ECU are the OSEK-OS compliant Operating System (direct successor of ProOSEK), OSEKtime for time-driven applications, LIN communication driver and a cryptography module. tresosR ECU for the XC16x/ST10 and TriCore architecture is available for the TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore as well as the classic C166/ST10 tools.
