The OSEK/VDX™ operating system osCAN is a well known product for automotive applications. It is a full pre-emptive multitasking operating system. The osCAN real-time operating system has been made available for the TASKING VX-toolsets for TriCore and M16C as well as the classic C166/ST10 toolset.

CANopen is a public protocol standard especially suitable for industrial CAN networks. Vector offers source code for master as well as slave nodes. It offers support for the TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore and M16C as well as the 8051, classic C166/ST10 and 68K/ColdFire toolsets.

CAN based communication protocols for various purposes are provided by Vector Informatik under the brand name of CANbedded. CANbedded has been made available for the TASKING VX-toolsets for TriCore and C166/ST10 as well as the classic C166/ST10 toolset.
