    Solutions Deployment Manager - USA, USA

    Job Responsibilities

    As an Altium Solutions Deployment Manager you will be the project lead for our global customer solutions deployment program. The primary objective of this program is to ensure that Altium customers successfully deploy and productively use Altium solutions software. This customer facing role is supported by an extended matrixed internal team including Sales and technical product expert professionals.

    The ideal candidate will:

    1. Have experience in managing complex software deployment projects
    2. Demonstrate executive presence and the ability to influence senior customer and Altium-internal stakeholders
    3. Have a “solutions mindset” that compels them to deliver value and ensure customer success


    1. Manage client setup and implementation projects for new, and expansion of existing clients, including input gathering, requirements specification, and timeline communication to clients and internal delivery managers
    2. Serve as the Altium customer representative and as the point-person across internal teams including Altium management, Sales, Customer Success, and R&D on technical related questions and issues from customers
    3. Coordinate with internal matrixed organizations and manage the project resource assignments and leveling
    4. Lead internal status reviews and clearly document assignments, and deadlines
    5. Recommend and introduce process improvements as appropriate

    What You’ll Do:

    1. Support the solutions deployment success efforts to manage customer on-boarding experience and success program
    2. Manage a portfolio of customers to drive increasing business value and ensure Altium customer investment is being optimally leveraged
    3. Project manage the customer on-boarding experience and own the customer post sale deployment program
    4. Proactively drive customer adoption and work with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities to increase overall contract value
    5. Help improve Customer Satisfaction by helping customers achieve their stated business outcomes
    6. Help define and manage to key program metrics
    7. Provide feedback to Sales, Product, and Marketing teams on patterns you see with customers that will allow us to more efficiently scale our solutions deployment program
    8. Build strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to drive market readiness, sales engagements, customer marketing, training actions, deployment projects, and effective support


    What We’re Looking For:

    1. 7+ years of customer engagement/account management experience
    2. Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and achieve results within complex customer environments
    3. Experience working with technical experts and Executive Sponsors
    4. Strong organizational and analytical skills
    5. Self-motivated, accountable and committed with well-developed decision-making skills
    6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    7. Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    8. Strong customer orientation, ability to manage complex and conflicting requirements

    Job Specific Qualifications and Skills:

    1. Working knowledge of project and change management methodology
    2. Working knowledge of Smartsheet for project management and collaboration
    3. Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud
    4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    5. Must possess effective presentation skills
