Changing Owner of an Altium 365 Workspace

This knowledge article provides the necessary details to change the owner of your company's active workspace.

Solution Details

If your organization encounters a situation where the owner of the Altium 365 Workspace needs to be changed, this action can be completed by one of the Group Administrators of your organization with active AltiumLive credentials through the following options:

  • Once signed into AltiumLive, use the URL:, or click the Dashboard link on the AltiumLive account menu (accessed by clicking on your photo/picture at the far right of the top banner on pages of the website). Once in the dashboard, click the Workspaces entry. 
  • Once signed into AltiumLive, use the direct URL:


The Workspaces page will list all Workspaces currently available for your organization. Access management commands for a Workspace by clicking on the image.png(vertical ellipsis) button to the far right of its entry, as shown in the following images: 
  • Change Owner - allowing for the owner of the Workspace to be changed, which is especially useful if the current owner is no longer with the company. After clicking the command, the Change Owner window will appear. Enter the email of the employee for your company who is to become the new owner of the Workspace and click image.png. The current Owner entry (below the Workspace name) will update accordingly. It may take some time for the change to be reflected within the Workspaces view of your Dashboard. Check back again later to confirm the change has synchronized back to the dashboard.
