Altium does not start per click (nview)

If I try to start Altium Designer by clicking from the start menu or from the task bar it usually takes a lot of tries to do this.

This can have something to do with the nView application that comes with nView-driver installed on your pc (especially if Altium starts intermittently.)
Please check if the nView Desktop Manager installed on your PC, by right-clicking in an unused space on your desktop.

If so, please go to this website: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/design-visualization/software/quadro-view/release-highlights/ and update the nView software.

An alternate approach, if you don't really use the nView Desktop Manager, would be to uninstall (or at least disable) this software. There is no impact on the installed NVIDIA driver.

You may find the NVIDIA desktop manager in the Desktop menu; Right click on an open area on the desktop, then select "NVIDIA RTX desktop manager", then disable. (It was also called Quadro View)
