The New Component dialog
Summary
The New Component dialog is used to define a name for a new component in the schematic library.
Access
The dialog is accessed in the following ways:
- From the Schematic Library Editor by clicking Tools » New Component from the main menus.
- From the Schematic Library Editor by clicking the Add button under the Design Item ID region in the SCH Library panel.
Options/Controls
- Design Item ID - enter the new component name.
