The Choose Snippet Folder dialog

Summary

The Choose Snippet Folder dialog allows you to select a local snippet folder for saving a schematic or PCB snippet being created from selection.

Access

The dialog is accessed from the New Schematic Snippet or New PCB Snippet dialog by clicking the button at the right of the Path field when Local Folder is selected in the Save to drop-down.

Options/Controls

• Folder list – select a folder for saving a snippet being created from those currently defined in the Available Snippets Folders dialog.
• New Folder – click to open the Folder Properties dialog in which you can specify a name for the new folder and determine under which parent folder it is to be created.
