Summary

This command is used to locally save a PCB Rule File (*.rul).

Access

This command can be accessed from the Rules Editor by:

• Choosing File » Export From File from the main menus.
• Right-clicking on a rule and selecting Export From File from the menu.

Use

After launching the command, the Export File dialog will open, where you may name the PCB Rule File (*.rul), choose the desired location, then click Save. The Choose Design Rule Type dialog will open, which allows you to choose the design rule(s) you want to export.
