Show Released Component Item in Explorer Panel

Summary

This feature is used to browse the selected and released component definition directly in the target server using the Explorer panel.

Access

With a component definition that has already been released to the server selected in the main grid region, this command can be accessed from the Component Library Editor when configured in Batch Editor mode by:

Choosing the Edit » Operations » Show In Explorer command from the main menus.
Right-clicking over the component definition and choosing the Operations » Show In Explorer command from the context menu.

The command only becomes available provided the component definition has already been released to the server.

If the Component Library Editor is currently in Single Component Editor mode, switch to the Batch Editor mode using the Tools » Switch to Batch Editor command.

Use

After launching the command, the Explorer panel will open presenting the Component Item to which the selected component definition is linked.

Tips

The released data stored in the server (in each revision of the Component Item) consists of links to the released domain models and the parametric information.
