  The Edit Comment dialog

Summary

The Edit Comments dialog is used to add comments before committing any modified documents to your design repositories.

Access

The dialog is accessed from a modified, version-controlled file by saving it, right-clicking on the file in the Projects panel then selecting Version Control »​ Commit.

Options/Controls

• Comment - enter comments or a log message to the file(s) to state why the file(s) are being added to the version control repository. 
• Choose a previously entered comment - choose an existing comment string from the drop-down for the file that is to be committed to the repository for reference purposes. If you have not previously written comments when committing files to a design repository, there will be no options available in the drop-down.
