The Component Grouping dialog

Summary

The Component Grouping dialog allows you to group components by any parameter. 

Access

The dialog is accessed from the schematic editor by choosing Design » Make Schematic Library from the main menus. If there are components with the same library reference but a different internal structure, this dialog will open.

Options/Controls

• Parameter Name - column of currently available parameters that can be used for grouping.
• Check - this column displays a checkbox for each available parameter. Only the checked parameters are used to group components.
• Defaults - click to restore the dialog to installation defaults.
