Remove Y Axis

Summary

This command is used to remove a Y-axis from the active wave plot in the current chart.

Access

This command can be accessed from the SimData Editor by:

Choosing the Plot » Remove Y Axis command from the main menus.
Right-clicking on the Y Axis and choosing the Delete Axis command from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the wave plot, from which you wish to remove the Y-axis, is made active in the Waveform Analysis window. This is achieved by clicking anywhere within the area of the wave plot.

Click on the specific Y-axis that you wish to remove and launch the command - the selected Y-axis will be removed.

Tips

If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to All in the Document Options dialog (Tools » Document Options), the active wave plot is distinguished by a black solid line around its waveform name section. If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to 1, 2, 3, or 4, the active wave plot is distinguished by a black arrow at the left hand side of its display area.
In order to view multiple Y-axes that have been defined, you must set the display option for the Number of Plots Visible to anything but All.
