Summary

This command is used to offset the current selection of objects by a precise amount in X and/or Y directions.

Access

This command can be accessed from the PCB Editor and the PCB Library Editor by:

Choosing the Edit » Move » Move Selection by X, Y command from the main menus.

Use

First ensure that the objects to be moved using this feature are selected in the design workspace.

After launching the command, the Get X/Y Offsets dialog will open. Use this dialog to specify delta X and/or delta Y increment values by which to move the selection. After clicking OK, the selection will be moved accordingly.

Tips

If an object is locked and you try to move it, you will be prompted with a confirmation dialog alerting you to this and asking if you want to continue.
