Set Location Mark n

Applied Parameters: LocationMark=n (where n is in the range 1 to 10)

Summary

This command is used to store the coordinates of a position in the current document, as defined by the user, in the nth location marker. This position can be accessed quickly by using the corresponding Jump Location Mark n command.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor by choosing the Edit » Jump » Set Location Marks » n command, from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, the cursor will change to a crosshair. Simply position the cursor at the point in the workspace that you wish to create a marker and click. The coordinates of this position will be stored in the nth location marker.

Tips

A new position assigned to the location marker will overwrite a previously defined position.
The stored location is only available while the schematic document remains open (active or not). If the document is closed and opened again, the location marker will be empty.
