Access Chart Options

Summary

This command is used to run the Chart Options dialog, from where you can define various settings for the currently active chart in the Waveform Analysis window.

Access

This command can be accessed from the SimData Editor by:

Choosing the Chart » Chart Options command from the main menus.
Right-clicking within the active chart (away from Y-axis and waveform names) and choosing the Chart Options command from the context menu.
Right-clicking on the chart's tab (at the bottom of the Waveform Analysis window) and choosing the Chart Options command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, the Chart Options dialog appears. Use the dialog to define a name and title for the chart, and to define the X-axis, in terms of label, scale, and grid type.

Tips

If one or both cursors have been added to a waveform, you can determine the cursor measurements to be displayed under the parent plot, through options available on the Chart Options dialog's Cursors tab.
