The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:
Applied Parameters: ContextObject=Polygon
When two polygons overlap, the software needs to know which one should occupy the shared area where they overlap. This is done by defining the pour order, with the higher-order polygon having precedence and pouring over the shared area. This command allows the designer to interactively configure the pour order of overlapping polygons. It is used to change the pour order, so that the selected polygon is in front of all other overlapping polygons (and therefore has the highest precedence).
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a selected polygon pour and choosing the Polygon Actions » Bring to front command, from the context menu.
After launching the command, the selected polygon pour will be moved to the top of the pour order. As it now has the highest precedence, it will pour over the shared (overlapping) area between the other applicable polygons. This will be seen visually in the workspace once the pour, which is now classed as modified, is repoured.
