Zoom In at Cursor

Applied Parameters: Action = InAtCursor

Summary

This command is used to bring the waveform(s) closer to you, relative to the cursor position, in the active simulation analysis chart.

Access

This command is accessed from the SimData Editor by using the PgUp keyboard shortcut.

Use

Launch the command to zoom in on a particular section of a waveform. Use the command repeatedly to zoom in more.

Tips

As this command is relative to the cursor position, it is a good idea to position the cursor in the desired location prior to launching the command, and then use the shortcut.
Zooming is applied to all waveforms in all wave plots in the chart, and is therefore independent of waveform/wave plot selection.

Zoom Out at Cursor

Applied Parameters: Action = OutAtCursor

Summary

This command is used to move the waveform(s) away from you, relative to the cursor position, in the active simulation analysis chart.

Access

This command is accessed from the SimData Editor by using the PgDn keyboard shortcut.

Use

Launch the command to zoom out from a particular section of a waveform. Use the command repeatedly to zoom out more.

Tips

As this command is relative to the cursor position, it is a good idea to position the cursor in the desired location prior to launching the command, and then use the shortcut.
Zooming is applied to all waveforms in all wave plots in the chart, and is therefore independent of waveform/wave plot selection.

Refresh

Applied Parameters: Action = Redraw

Summary

This command is used to refresh the screen, in effect performing a redraw of the active simulation analysis chart, to remove any undesired drawing update effects.

Access

This command can be accessed from the SimData Editor by:

Choosing the View » Refresh command from the main menus.
Using the End keyboard shortcut.

Use

After launching the command, the screen will be refreshed and the active chart redrawn.

Tips

This command does not affect the current view setting of the Waveform Analysis window.

Zoom In at Center

Applied Parameters: Action = InAtCenter

Summary

This command is used to bring the waveform(s) closer to you (zoom in), relative to the center positions of each associated wave plot, in the active simulation analysis chart.

Access

Choosing the View » Zoom In command from the main menus.
Clicking the button on the SimView Standard toolbar.
Using the Z keyboard shortcut to access a pop-up menu of zoom commands, then choosing the Zoom In entry on that menu.

Use

Launch the command to zoom in at the center of each wave plot. Use the command repeatedly to zoom in more.

Tips

Zooming is applied to all wave plots in the chart and is therefore independent of wave plot selection.

Zoom Out at Center

Applied Parameters: Action = OutAtCenter

Summary

This command is used to move the waveform(s) away from you (zoom out), relative to the center positions of each associated wave plot, in the active simulation analysis chart.

Access

Choosing the View » Zoom Out command from the main menus.
Clicking the button on the SimView Standard toolbar.
Using the Z keyboard shortcut to access a pop-up menu of zoom commands, then choosing the Zoom Out entry on that menu.
