Summary

This command is used to open the Run Process dialog, from where you can set up and run any of the available processes provided by the set of installed servers in the Altium Designer installation.

Access

This command is accessed from any editor, by clicking the button (to the left of the menus) and choosing Run Process from the subsequent pane that appears.

Use

After launching the command, the Run Process dialog will appear. Use the dialog to enter the name of the server process you wish to run, along with any required parameters. Click on the Browse button to open the Process Browser dialog, from where you can browse for the required process across all processes currently available to Altium Designer through its underlying servers.

After clicking OK the process will be executed and the associated action carried out.

Tips

You can set up and run any of the available processes provided by installed servers. The result of running a process will depend on that process's validity, with respect to the particular editor you are currently using.
