Toggle Single Object Selection

Summary

This command is used to change the selection status of a single design object, on the current document, without affecting the status of other objects.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Schematic Editor and the Schematic Library Editor, by using the Shift+click keyboard shortcut.

Use

Simply position the cursor over the object whose selection status is to be changed, and launch the command. If the object was not previously selected, it will become so. If the object was already selected, it will be de-selected.

Tips

If the Click Clears Selection option is disabled, on the Schematic - Graphical Editing page of the Preferences dialog, then the selection status of an individual object in the document can be toggled, simply by positioning the cursor over it and clicking.
