Rename

Summary

This command is used to rename the currently selected document in the local copy of a checked-out project under version control.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Project Files region of the Storage Manager panel with the required document selected by:

Right-clicking and choosing the Rename command from the context menu.
Using the F2 keyboard shortcut.

Use

Ensure the document that you want to rename is selected in the Project Files region of the Storage Manager panel.

After launching the command, enter the new name for the document as required and either press Enter or click away from the document. The name will be changed.

Tips

The document in the version control repository is not touched - only the local document for that particular checked-out instance of the project renamed.
