Summary

This command is used to extend a selection by one line up from the current cursor position.

Access

Access to this command is made using the Shift+Up Arrow keyboard shortcut only.

Use

Simply position the cursor at the required position and launch the command. The selection will extend to (but not include) the character in the same column, one line up from the original cursor position.

Repeatedly use this command to extend the selection upward by further lines.

Tips

1. You can control selection specifically by using Click-and-drag.
