Explore to Focused Document

Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedDocument

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the focused document is stored.

Access

This command can be accessed by:

Right-clicking over the entry for a document in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.
Focusing the entry for a document in the Projects panel, then clicking the panel's Project button and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the focused document is stored, will be presented.

Tips

An entity in the Projects panel is focused either by clicking on it, or right-clicking on it. To distinguish it as being the focused entry, it appears with a dotted border.

Explore to Focused Project

Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedProject

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the focused project document is stored.

Access

This command can be accessed by:

Right-clicking over the entry for a project in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.
Focusing the entry for a project in the Projects panel, then clicking the panel's Project button and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the focused project document is stored, will be presented.

Tips

Explore to Design Workspace

Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=Workspace

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the design workspace document (*.DsnWrk) is stored

Access

This command can be accessed, provided the active design workspace has been saved, by:

Choosing the Project » Design Workspace » Explore command from the main menus (available from most editors).
Clicking the Workspace button in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

The design workspace must already be saved before this command becomes available.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the design workspace document is stored, will be presented.
