Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, Applications Engineer with a passion for customer support focusing on our Data Management Solutions. Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and other Application Engineers on Altium products.
1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions and issues
2. Resolving and documenting installation, licensing and most common asked questions
3. Working on and resolving customer issues in a reasonable time-frame as required
4. Creating and escalating support tickets
5. Constantly expand technical knowledge by exploring technical content and Altium products
6. Ability to Mentor and Assist Junior team members
7. Able to work “low volume/high complexity” issues effectively towards resolution over an extended period with multiple stakeholders
Requirements
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar combination of experience and education
2. Knowledge of Electronics Industry strongly desired
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Schematic and PCB Design space in lieu of the preferred Engineering degree
4. Fluent in English
5. Good Verbal and Written communication skills
6. Background in Technical Support or Customer Service preferred
7. Ability to Troubleshoot complex issues
8. Ability to read and follow guides used to resolve common usage issues
9. Consistent and reliable productivity
10. Proficiency in MS Office required
11.Working knowledge of SalesForce preferred
12. Be driven, self managed, and motivated
