Summary

This command is used to create a new component in an Altium Designer Workspace.

For more information about on-site servers and Workspaces, see Altium Concord Pro.

This command is only available if you are connected to an on-site server or Altium Designer Workspace.

Access

When signed into a Workspace, right-click on the entry in the Projects panel then choose Create Component from the menu.

Use

After the command is selected, the Create new component dialog opens in which you can select the component type. After clicking OK, the component editor opens in which you can configure the new component.
