Summary
This command is used to remove one or more selected component definitions from the active Component Library document.
Access
This command can be accessed from the Component Library Editor when configured in Batch Editor mode by:
- Selecting a single component definition (in the main grid region) and choosing the Edit » Remove <ComponentName> command from the main menus.
- Right-clicking over a component definition (in the main grid region), and choosing the Remove <ComponentName> command from the context menu.
- Selecting component definitions (in the main grid region) and choosing the Edit » Remove n Components command from the main menus.
- Right-clicking over a component definition (in a group of n selected definitions in the main grid region), and choosing the Remove n Components command from the context menu.
- Selecting the required component definition(s) and using the Ctrl+Delete keyboard shortcut.
If the Component Library Editor is currently in Single Component Editor mode, switch to the Batch Editor mode using the Tools » Switch to Batch Editor command.
Use
After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the selected component(s). Click Yes - the component definition(s) will be removed from the definitions region of the document.
Tip
The selected component definitions can also be removed by clicking the Remove Component control, which is located below the main grid region.
