The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: Action=Copy

Summary

This command is used to copy the selected query expression text from the Filter region of the Filter panel - either the PCB Filter panel (PCB Editor) or the PCBLIB Filter panel (PCB Library Editor) - to the clipboard.

Access

With the required text selected in the Filter region of the panel, this command is accessed from the PCB Editor and the PCB Library Editor by using the Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut.

Use

First, select the text that you want to copy - all or part of the current query expression presented in the Filter region of the Filter panel.

After launching the command, the text will be copied to the clipboard and can be used elsewhere within or outside of Altium NEXUS.


Applied Parameters: Action=Cut

Summary

This command is used to clear the selected query expression text from the Filter region of the Filter panel - either the PCB Filter panel (PCB Editor) or the PCBLIB Filter panel (PCB Library Editor) - and copy it to the clipboard.

Access

With the required text selected in the Filter region of the panel, this command is accessed from the PCB Editor and the PCB Library Editor by using the Ctrl+X keyboard shortcut.

Use

First, select the text that you want to cut - all or part of the current query expression presented in the Filter region of the Filter panel.

After launching the command, the text will be removed from the panel and copied to the clipboard. It can then be used elsewhere within or outside of Altium NEXUS.


Applied Parameters: Action=Paste

Summary

This command is used to paste text from the clipboard into the Filter region of the Filter panel - either the PCB Filter panel (PCB Editor) or the PCBLIB Filter panel (PCB Library Editor).

Access

With the required text available on the clipboard, this command is accessed from the PCB Editor and the PCB Library Editor by using the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut.

Use

First, ensure the text that you want to paste is available on the Windows clipboard. Also, ensure the text cursor is located at the desired paste location within the Filter region of the Filter panel.

After launching the command, the text will be pasted into the region at the current text cursor location.
