The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:

Applied Parameters: None

Summary

This command is used to remove the currently selected/active sheet from the active Draftsman document. A Draftsman document (*.PCBDwf) is a multi-sheet format file, which allows it to contain individual pages (sheets) that are assigned to particular types of board project production information.

For a high-level look at how the Altium Draftsman Drawing System provides an interactive approach to the creation of production documentation for your PCBs, see Draftsman.

Access

This command can be accessed from the PcbDrawing Editor by:

  • Choosing the Tools » Remove Sheet command from the main menus.
  • Right-clicking in the workspace and choosing the Remove Sheet command from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the sheet within the active Draftsman document, that you wish to remove, is the current sheet. This is done by clicking within the sheet - verify you have the right sheet, by using the information in the Status Bar.

After launching the command, the selected/active sheet will be removed from the document.

Tips

  1. This operation can be undone using the Undo command.
  2. The currently active sheet number, and the total number of sheets in a Draftsman document, is reflected in the Status Bar.
