Summary

Returns a (real) number whose value is equal to the cotangent of the angle specified by the parameter's numeric value; that angle is in units of radians (and not degrees).

Syntax

COTAN(X : Number / Numeric_String) : Number

Example Usage

COTAN(0.1)
Returns 9.9666.

COTAN(0.8)
Returns 0.9712.

COTAN(1.57)
Returns 0.0008.
