The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: LayerName = Next

Summary

This command enables you to change the current layer for the design to the next layer in the Layers list.

Access

This command is accessed from the CAMtastic Editor, with the main workspace in focus, by using the + keyboard shortcut (on the numeric keypad).

Use

After launching the command, the next layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel will become the current layer, with all other layers turned OFF.

Use the command repeatedly to cycle forward through all layers in the list.

Tips

  1. If the next layer in the list is turned OFF, using this command will turn it ON, and make it the current layer.
  2. Once the last layer in the list is reached, this command will not cycle to the first layer in the list.
  3. From the CAMtastic panel, the same functionality can be accessed by using the Down Arrow keyboard shortcut.
  4. To set the current layer to a specific layer directly, double-click on the required entry for that layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel.


Applied Parameters: LayerName = Previous

Summary

This command enables you to change the current layer for the design to the previous layer in the Layers list.

Access

This command is accessed from the CAMtastic Editor, with the main workspace in focus, by using the - keyboard shortcut (on the numeric keypad).

Use

After launching the command, the previous layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel will become the current layer, with all other layers turned OFF.

Use the command repeatedly to cycle back through all layers in the list.

Tips

  1. If the previous layer in the list is turned OFF, using this command will turn it ON, and make it the current layer.
  2. Once the first layer in the list is reached, this command will not cycle to the last layer in the list.
  3. From the CAMtastic panel, the same functionality can be accessed by using the Up Arrow keyboard shortcut.
  4. To set the current layer to a specific layer directly, double-click on the required entry for that layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel.


Applied Parameters: LayerName = NextSignalPlane

Summary

This command enables you to change the current layer for the design to the next signal layer in the Layers list.

Access

This command is accessed from the CAMtastic Editor, with the main workspace in focus, by using the * keyboard shortcut (on the numeric keypad).

Use

After launching the command, the next signal layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel will become the current layer, with all other layers turned OFF.

Use the command repeatedly to cycle forward through all signal layers in the list.

Tips

  1. If the next signal layer in the list is turned OFF, using this command will turn it ON, and make it the current layer.
  2. Once the last signal layer in the list is reached, this command will cycle to the first signal layer again.
  3. To set the current layer to a specific signal layer directly, double-click on the required entry for that layer in the Layers list of the CAMtastic panel.
