Vault Technologies

• Altium Vault 3.0.14 (178 MB) - Installing the Altium Vault is performed using the Altium Vault Installer. Download and run Altium_Vault_3_0_14_730.exe. Specify the destination folders for the installation, and the data, and specify the port number for the web server. For more information, see Installation, Licensing & Management.
• Altium Vault 2.0 (145 MB) - Installing the Altium Vault is performed using the Altium Vault Installer. Download and Run Altium Vault 2.0.5.34308.exe. Specify the destination folders for the installation, and the data, and specify the port number for the web server. For more information, see Installing the Altium Vault.
• Altium Vault Server 1.2 (137 MB) - Installing the Altium Vault Server is performed using the Altium Vault Server Installer. Download and Run Altium Vault Server 1.2.30757.exe. Specify the destination folders for the installation, and the data, and specify the port number for the web server. For more information, see Altium Vault Server.
• Personal Vault 1.2 (65.5 MB) - Installing the Personal Vault is performed using the Personal Vault Installer. Download and Run Altium Personal Vault 1.2.30759.exe. Specify the destination folders for the installation and for the data. For more information, see Altium Personal Vault.

• Team Configuration Center 1.0 (TC2) (99.7 MB) - Installing the Team Configuration Center is performed using the TC2 Installer. Download and Run TC2 1.0.30758.exe. Where the installer detects an installed Altium Vault Server, TC2 will be set up to use it as its default repository. TC2 requires the installation of the latest Private License Server v14.0. • Vault Migration Tool (1.9 MB Zip)- To successfully migrate between vaults, you must be using the latest version of the Vault Migration Tool (version 1.3.0.7), Altium Personal Vault (build 1.2.30759), and Altium Vault (build 2.0.33788 or later). Ensure you have upgraded your Altium Personal Vault (if not already) from v1.1 to v1.2.

Altium Designer

To take advantage of the latest capabilities in Altium Designer, it is advised to upgrade to the latest version. Many great new features and technologies have been developed and added along the way since these previous versions of the software, as well as a myriad of enhancements to existing features, bug fixes and implementation of ideas sourced from members of the AltiumLive community. And when you do upgrade to the latest release of Altium Designer, it's highly recommended to purchase Altium Subscription for each license too. Being on subscription opens the door to a number of additional attractions, not least the ability to stay current with the software – being able to install new updates and access features and functionality as soon as they leave development. Output Generators

All Altium Designer releases from Summer 08 onwards include all available output generators. For prior versions, the generators available for download are listed in the following collapsible sections:

Miscellaneous

• Altium Designer Uninstaller (1.4 MB) - Uninstalling Altium Designer is performed using the Altium Uninstaller. Select the installation you wish to uninstall, control the degree to which you want to uninstall , and manage and clear your download cache. This uninstaller can be used for Altium Designer 13, 12 and 10.
• Altium Instrument Dashboard (31.7 MB) - A stand-alone, custom instrument viewer that lets you remotely control and test designs using wireless or Internet technology, without having Altium Designer installed. A free application that can be installed on any PC.
• Altium Designer Viewer (131 MB) - Enhances the data exchange capabilities of Altium Designer by giving non-designers secure access to essential design data, plus the ability to generate reports and printouts. A free application that can be installed on any PC.
• Private License Server (14.0.0.34) - Administer license usage on your local network. By setting up a Private License Server, your central server machine can control access to floating licenses by multiple computers on the network.

Altium DXP (2002 Release)

• DXP 2002 SP2 for licensed version or DXP 2002 SP2 for trial version - SP2 for Altium DXP (2002 Release). Cumulative patch can upgrade from DXP (2002 Release) or Service Pack 1, licensed or trial versions. Not compatible with DXP 2004 / Altium Designer.

Protel 99 SE

• Protel 99 SE Service Pack 6  (EXE 12,077 KB) - Cumulative SP6 download for Protel 99 SE. Contains updates and enhancements in binary patch form to update your current installation. Compatible with both the licensed and trial versions of Protel 99 SE, you do not need to remove any previously released service packs.
• Protel Service Pack 6 Packs - Various packages included in Service Pack 6 for Protel 99SE:

Protel 99

• Protel 99 SP 1 (EXE 6,436 KB) - SP1 download for Protel 99. (This service pack is not required for users of Protel 99 SE) .Contains updates and enhancements in binary patch form to update your current installation.
• PCB Power Tool Pack (EXE 4,393 KB) - The Power Tool Pack includes PCB print engine, 3D PCB Viewer, Orcad® interface, Mechanical CAD Interface.
• PCB Power Print (EXE 1,167 KB) - Print engine to Protel 99's PCB editor that gives you complete control over the printing process.
• 3D PCB Viewer (EXE 1,834 KB) - Showing the current board as a rendered 3D image. You have full rotational and zoom control allowing you to view your board from any angle.
• Mechanical CAD Interface (EXE 2,165 KB) - Allows you to export and import from Protel PCB and Schematic files to AutoCAD DWG and DXF format files, and replaces the existing DXF export feature in Protel 99.
• OrCAD Interface (EXE 1,231 KB) - Allows you to import OrCAD Capture designs into Protel 99's Schematic Editor, and OrCAD Layout designs into Protel 99's PCB Editor.

• Overlapping Hole Detector (EXE 922 KB) - Detects PCB pads whose holes are overlapping. Requires Protel 99.
• Specctra Interface (EXE 971 KB) - Used to transfer a PCB design to and from the Specctra® autorouter. Requires Protel 99.
• Testpoint Finder (EXE 981 KB) - Analyzes the PCB and identifies possible testpoints for each net. Requires Protel 99.

Protel 98

• Protel 98 SP 3 (EXE 5,607 KB) - Cumulative SP3 for Protel 98. Contains updates and enhancements in binary patch form to update your current installation.
• Hole Size Editor version 4.0 (EXE 469 KB) - Will report all the hole sizes used on the board, and give you the option to change particular hole sizes. Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Import Rules from Netlist version 4.0 (EXE 480 KB) - Can be used to add rules to the current board from the directive information in a Protel 2 format netlist. Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Protel 98 Interface for SPECCTRA® Router (EXE 468 KB) - Used to interface Advanced PCB 98 to the SPECCTRA® autorouter package from Cooper & Chan Technology, Inc. (Now acquired by Cadence) Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Align Components Server (EXE 467 KB) - Used to align selected components on a PCB board. Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Component Class Generator (CCG) Server (EXE 416 KB) - This add-on server is used to calculate the Manhatten ratio of the routed net. Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Calculator Ratio Server (EXE 913 KB) - Used to align selected components on a PCB board. Requires EDA/Client 98, Advanced PCB 98.
• Protel 98 On-line Help Service Pack (EXE 3,277 KB) - This service pack updates the on-line help files for all products in Protel 98.

Protel Version 3

Protel Version 3 SP 1 (EXE 2,526 KB) - Contains updates and enhancements in binary patch form to update your current installation.

  • P-CAD 2002 Update for PADS® to P-CAD -  In order to install the PADS to P-CAD Translator, you must first download and install the PADS to P-CAD (for P-CAD 2001). This application is available under the P-CAD 2001 section. To install the Update you will need to Save the P-CAD 2002 update for the translator to your hard drive into the Program Files\P-CAD 2002 folder. To save the update file to the P-CAD 2002 folder, single click on the Update and click the "Save" button in in order to save the update file and replace the existing file on your hard drive.

Freeware Downloads

• Autotrax (ZIP 821 KB) - DOS Freeware version 1.61 - Complete PCB layout package with output support for printers, pen plotters and Gerber. Download and run the file in the root directory of your hard drive to extract the install program. The install program must be run from the root directory.

• EasyTrax (ZIP 485 KB) - DOS Freeware version 2.06 - Complete PCB layout package with output support for printers, pen plotters and Gerber. System requirements: PC-compatible; DOS 2.0 or later; 640K RAM; 2Mb of hard disk space.
