The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:
Applied Parameters: Size=1Mil
This command is used to set the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) step values - for the default Global Board Snap Grid - simultaneously to 1mil. These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor, and PCB Library Editor, by:
After launching the command, the value for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid will be set to 1mil, and the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.
Applied Parameters: Size=5Mil

This command is used to set the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) step values - for the default Global Board Snap Grid - simultaneously to 100mil. These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor, and PCB Library Editor, by using the G keyboard shortcut, then choosing the 100 Mil command from the pop-up menu.
After launching the command, the value for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid will be set to 100mil, and the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.
Applied Parameters: Size=0.025MM
This command is used to set the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) step values - for the default Global Board Snap Grid - simultaneously to 0.025mm. These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.
After launching the command, the value for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid will be set to 0.025mm, and the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.

These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.
After launching the command, the value for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid will be set to 0.2500mm, and the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.

This command is used to set the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) step values - for the default Global Board Snap Grid - simultaneously to 2.500mm. These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.

After launching the command, the value for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid will be set to 2.500mm, and the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.

These values together define the Snap Grid for manual movement and placement in the current document. The cursor automatically snaps to this grid, positioning the reference point of the object being placed onto the nearest grid location.
After launching the command, the Snap Grid (1..1000) dialog will appear. Enter a single value to be used for both the Step X and Step Y properties of the default Global Board Snap Grid and click OK - the grid will update accordingly in the workspace.
