Defining General Simulation Preferences for Altium NEXUS

Summary

The Simulation – General page of the Preferences dialog is used to define the default model path for circuit simulation models. The software will search the current project's folder first, then search the desired location for referenced simulation models.

Access

The Simulation – General page is accessed by clicking General under the Simulation folder in the main Preferences dialog (accessed by clicking the  button in the top right corner of the workspace).

Options/Controls

Directories

  • Model Path - click the folder icon to open a dialog to search for and select the target folder that contains the simulation models.

Simulators

  • Default Simulator - use the drop-down to select the desired default simulator.
