Summary

This violation occurs when an object is not aligned to the current Snap grid.

Notification

If compiler errors and warnings are enabled for display on the schematic (enabled on the Schematic - Compiler page of the Preferences dialog), an offending object will display a colored squiggle beneath it. A notification is also displayed in the Messages panel in the following format:

Off grid <ObjectIdentifier> at <Location> ,

where:

ObjectIdentifier identifies the specific object that is currently off-grid. The identifier is composed of the object's type and its name/designator (e.g., Pin <PinDesignator>).

Location is the X,Y coordinates for the object's electrical hotspot.

Ensure that the Snap grid is enabled on the Sheet Options tab of the Document Options dialog (Project | Content |
