Frequently asked questions

What’s new for AltiumLive 2019?

In addition to the Altium Designer Courses on University day, AltiumLive now offers two full-day courses on October 10th where attendees can learn about EMI best practices or DFM by industry experts. These course options run in parallel and require a special ticket.

Where do I enter my promo code?

The promo code can be added to the bottom of your registration form after you select your ticket type.

Can I purchase a ticket only for the University Day?

No, unfortunately, the University day is an add-on day that must be purchased with the Summit Pass.

Is my ticket refundable?

No, your ticket is not refundable but can be upgraded to another package.

Can I upgrade my ticket to a Plus or Premium ticket?

Yes as long as supplies last. Please send an email to summit@altium.com and we’ll send you a link to upgrade your ticket online. You will just need to pay the difference of the new ticket.

I purchased a ticket that included a hotel booking. When will I receive my hotel confirmation?

You will receive hotel confirmation directly from the hotel within 72 hours of purchase.

Are the DFM and EMI Full day courses included in the University Day Courses?

No, the DFM, EMI, and University Day courses are each sold separately and cannot be interchanged with one another or the University Day courses.

Can I attend any of the University Day Courses?

Yes, as long as you have a University Day Course Ticket, you can join any of the University Day Courses.

How do I select my courses or sessions?

When course registration is available, you will receive an email with a link to pre-register for your courses or sessions. Pre-registration will get you first available seating to the session or course.

Can I add more room nights to my hotel stay?

Yes, you can add more room nights to your hotel stay by contacting the hotel directly. To book your room for AltiumLive 2019 call 1-800-235-6397 and mention our group name: Altium, Inc. Hotel discount rates are only valid until Sept. 09, 2019, based on room availability.

Will I get a copy of the presentations or recordings?

Yes, presentations and recordings will be available after the summit. You will be notified after the summit with an email when they are available.

Are there any group discounts?

The event will take place at the award-winning Loews Coronado Bay Resort. This beautiful waterfront resort is located near all of San Diego's main attractions and available now for a special discounted rate for all event attendees.

How To Get To The AltiumLive 2019

Please plan to fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN). We recommend the Super Shuttle which can be accessed outside of baggage claim near the “Ground Transportation” area. A shuttle is available from the airport for the cost of $16.00/person one-way. For more information, please contact Super Shuttle directly at 619-591-0303.

Alternatively, taxis are available outside of baggage claim for $35-40 one-way. This may be an economical option if you are sharing transportation with another traveler. Total ride time is approximately 20 minutes.

Merge onto CA-75 S via Exit 14A toward Coronado. Turn left onto Orange Ave/CA-75. Continue to follow CA-75. Turn left onto Coronado Bay Rd. Turn left to stay on Coronado Bay Rd. Arrive at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, 4000 Coronado Bay Road, Coronado, CA.

Hotel parking is included in your ticket price

Overnight Guest Self Parking

Guests will receive a ticket at the parking gate when they first enter the resort and can present it to the Front Desk at check-in as they will be asked if they have a car on property. After visiting the Front Desk, guests can park in the underground structure in/around one of the buildings that corresponds to their guestroom.

From that point on, guests will only need their room key to enter/exit the parking gate at the front of the resort and their Self-parking charges will automatically be routed to the master account for the nights specified.

Valet parking is not included.  If valet parking is used, the guest's credit card will be charged with the room. 

Daily Guest Self Parking

Guests will receive a ticket at the parking gate when they enter the resort and can self-park in the underground garage or around the perimeter of the hotel.

They will need to visit the valet podium and mention they are with Altium before leaving the hotel each day. They will be given a sticker to place on their ticket which they will need to exit the resort. 

There are no in/out privileges.
