EU Data Act
The European Union has enacted new legislation that aims to facilitate the switching of data processing services (cloud services) – the Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 on harmonized rules on fair access to and use of data (the “Data Act”).
With some exceptions, the Data Act applies from 12 September 2025.
