The CompareForm dialog

Summary

The CompareForm dialog is used to compare two versions of an ASCII file.

Access

The dialog is accessed from the Storage Manager panel by selecting two versions of a document in the Local History region, right-clicking then selecting Compare.

Options/Controls

•  - click to undo any changes made in the dialog and return to the default information.
•  - click to move up to the selected line item.
•  - click to move up to the selected line item.
• Listing - lists each line of the selected file with the original version on the left and the updated version on the right. Click on any entry to make changes.
• Added/Modified/Deleted lines - this region totals the number of lines added, lines modified and lines deleted from the original version (left region) versus the changed version (right region).
