Detailed Design and Budgets

In Requirements & Systems Portal's System Design Module, you can create a model of your engineering project and organize your Blocks in a hierarchical tree.

Here you can:

• Detail your design by creating Blocks and sub-Blocks

• Assign physical properties to each Block

• Connect Blocks with requirements

You can easily create engineering budgets that include margins of error and worst case values.

The budgets will be automatically updated when someone changes a design value.

All engineering values are connected with formulas:

• Changes to one part of the design are automatically propagated to the rest of the system

• Engineers will be notified when a design change is made

• All calculations take units into account, which means that you can add 2 kg + 200g without a problem
