Traceability to Requirements

When you verify requirements by test, it can be very difficult to keep track of which test verifies which requirement. Requirements & System Portal allows you to connect Tests to Requirements thus allowing full traceability between the two.

After creating a Test, it is possible to make Test Runs, which allow your team to track every iteration of that Test Procedure. Each Test Run has some features you might want to explore:

• Tester, Approver and Status

• Start date and Duration

• Tags and Attachments

• Approved checkbox, which allows traceability with the Requirements Module

After a Test Run, if that Test is passed and approved by the Approver, the Requirement will automatically become verified.
