Open Project

The Open Project option is used to open the Open Project dialog, in which you can search for and open projects. The Open Project option can be accessed from the File menu in any editor.

Use the Search field in the Open Project dialog to filter the project list.

When opening projects, the Search field will respond to project names and descriptions, as well as analytics parameters generated by the Personal Space.

• Locations – this section allows you to choose the location of the project you want to open. The rightmost pane will display projects within the chosen location.

  • Name – the name of the project.

  • Last Modified – the date and time the project was last modified. The date and time display in accordance with your personal computer settings. To configure each project's modification dates and times in a specific format, you can do so in your computer's system Region settings.

    The Name and Last Modified columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking (and toggling) the header for each column.
  • Project Information – when  is clicked, the right-hand side of the dialog displays additional details about the selected project, including the basic project information (the General tab) and analytics project parameters generated by the Personal Space (the Parameters tab).
  • Open – use to open the project. The project files are checked out of the Personal Space and opened in CircuitMaker, thereby populating the local cache.
  Shared With Me

  Shared With Me – lists projects shared from within CircuitMaker or through the Personal Space browser interface.

  • Name – the name of the project.
  • Created By – the name of the person who created the project.

  • Last Modified – the date and time the project was last modified. The date and time display in accordance with your personal computer settings. To configure each project's modification dates and times in a specific format, you can do so in your computer's system Region settings.
