Parent page: AutoPlacer Commands

The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:

Applied Parameters: None

This command is used to stop the Cluster Placer at any time during the auto-placement process.

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Tools » Component Placement » Stop Auto Placer command, from the main menus.

While the Cluster Placer is performing the auto-placement, launch the command. A confirmation dialog will appear, prompting you to confirm whether you want to stop the auto-placement process or not. If you want to go ahead with the stop, there is also an option to restore the components to their original positions, before this instance of the Cluster Placer was launched. If you do not select this option, then the components will be left in the positions last placed before the stop command was issued.
