The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:

Applied Parameters: None

This command is used to access the main Altium Designer splash-screen (Help About dialog), which provides information about the installed version of Altium Designer, and facilitates access to the My Account and Extensions and Updates areas of the software. In addition, the dialog provides access to the detailed relevant and applicable notices regarding copyright of the software.

This command is accessed from any editor by choosing the Help » About command, from the main menus.

After launching the command, the Altium Designer splash-screen will appear. This dialog provides the following information:

  • Version number (and build number) of the installed software.
  • The user and computer name on which the software is installed.
  • Licensing scope - what the current license can be used for.
  • A short summary copyright notice.

Click the  button to quickly access the License Management view. This is 'command central' for signing-in to your Altium account, and setting up your licensing for the software. For more detailed information, see Altium Designer Licensing System.

Click the  button to quickly access the dedicated Extensions & Updates view. This is 'command central' from which to efficiently manage the functionality available to the software, and to update the core platform when a new version of the software is released and made available. For more detailed information, see Extending Altium Designer.

Click the  button to access the Copyright notices dialog, which gives a more detailed copyright notice for the software.
